Role Overview
The WE Foundation is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead and strengthen the organization’s human resource functions across recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, policy implementation, compliance, learning and development, and organizational culture. The ideal candidate will work closely with management and department heads to attract, develop, and retain talented professionals while ensuring HR processes align with organizational goals and statutory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with a passion for building people-centric workplaces in the development sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
· Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified professionals across programs and support functions.
· Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
· Work closely with department heads to identify manpower requirements and workforce planning needs.
· Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future organizational requirements.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
· Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture across the organization.
· Manage employee engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and grievance resolution.
· Lead the performance appraisal process and support managers in setting goals and evaluating employee performance.
· Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, disciplinary matters, and employee relations.
HR Operations & Compliance
· Ensure implementation and periodic review of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
· Maintain employee records, HR documentation, contracts, and confidential personnel information.
· Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and organizational policies.
· Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and employee benefits administration.
Learning & Development
· Identify training needs and coordinate employee learning and capacity-building initiatives.
· Design and implement induction programs for new employees.
· Support leadership development, succession planning, and career progression initiatives.
· Promote continuous learning and professional development across teams.
Organizational Development
· Support management in organizational restructuring, policy development, and change management initiatives.
· Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports related to recruitment, attrition, performance, and employee engagement.
· Drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee wellness initiatives.
· Contribute to strengthening organizational culture and aligning HR practices with the Foundation’s mission and values.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
· Master’s degree or MBA in Human Resource Management is preferred.
· 3–4 years of progressive experience in Human Resource Management, preferably in the non-profit, CSR, development, education, or social impact sector.
· Experience in handling end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of Human Resource Management principles, labour laws, and statutory compliance.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Proven leadership and people management abilities.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
· Experience with HRMS, payroll coordination, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
