Job Summary
An experienced SAP PS Consultant to design, implement, and support end to end project management processes in SAP. The role involves managing project structures, planning, costing, budgeting, execution, and financial settlement to ensure effective control and visibility across project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP Project System (PS) for managing internal and customer projects.
- Should have knowledge of oil and gas business processes.
- Design and maintain:
o Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
o Networks and activities
o Milestones and project versions
- Configure project cost planning, budgeting, availability control, and forecasting.
- Manage project execution tracking including progress analysis and earned value.
- Configure and support Results Analysis (RA) and Project Settlement.
- Integrate SAP PS with:
o PPM for Project planning
o SAC for Cost planning and reporting
o CO for cost management and controlling
o MM for procurement and project stock
o SD for customer/project billing
o FI for financial postings and settlements
o Interfaces with third party tool for procurement, planning, revenue.
- Support users for day-to-day business process
- Support reporting related to project costs, revenue, and progress.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare functional design documents.
- Assist technical teams with specifications for enhancements and interfaces.
- Support testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT) and go live activities.
- Provide production support and continuous process improvement.
- Support data migration activities for WBS, networks, and project history.
- Act as an SME for PS related processes.
