Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Manager – Power BI to lead enterprise-wide business intelligence initiatives. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and governing Power BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The incumbent will manage BI projects, lead analytics teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports.
Establish and maintain BI governance, data standards, and reporting frameworks.
Collaborate with business units to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
Manage end-to-end BI project delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Optimize data models, DAX calculations, and report performance.
Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including ERP, CRM, and data warehouses.
Lead and mentor BI developers, analysts, and technical teams.
Drive automation and self-service analytics initiatives.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Microsoft Power BI certification(s) preferred.
Experience
8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or MIS functions.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and administration.
Proven experience leading analytics teams and enterprise BI implementations.
Experience with SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms.
Technical Skills
Advanced Power BI development (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling).
Strong SQL and database management skills.
Knowledge of Fabric, Synapse, or similar platforms.
Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
