Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager – Proficiency Testing (PT) to manage the technical activities of our laboratory and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17043 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall technical management of Proficiency Testing (PT) activities and programmes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17043 and NABL requirements.
- Plan, coordinate and review PT schemes, test items and technical activities.
- Review test methods, technical procedures, results and reports.
- Handle statistical evaluation of PT results, including z-score and related performance evaluation.
- Coordinate with participating laboratories and technical personnel.
- Maintain technical records, procedures and quality documentation.
- Support NABL assessments, audits, corrective actions and accreditation activities.
- Ensure technical competence and proper functioning of the laboratory.
Required Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science / Engineering / relevant technical field.
- 4–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Practical experience in Proficiency Testing / PT Provider activities is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17043.
- Experience with NABL-accredited laboratory/PT Provider will be preferred.
- Candidates with only routine testing experience and no PT experience will not be preferred.
