We’re Hiring – Assistant Fashion Designer

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist with trend, market, silhouette, fabric, and inspiration research.
* Develop and assist with prints, colourways, repeats, placement prints, embroideries, and surface techniques.
* Create CADs, technical flats, design boards, presentations, and artwork.
* Assist with fabric, trim, embellishment, and material sourcing.
* Coordinate with printers, embroiderers, kaarigars, masterjis, vendors, and suppliers.
* Assist with sampling, fittings, alterations, approvals, and quality checks.
* Follow up on production, timelines, fabrics, trims, printing, embroidery, and garment execution.
* Support merchandising, including product information, line sheets, costing, order requirements, and production trackers.
* Prepare tech packs, spec sheets, production files, and design documentation.
* Assist with photoshoots, lookbooks, showroom activities, client orders, and presentations.
* Take ownership of tasks, proactively solve problems, and support the team wherever required.

We are looking for a true fashion all-rounder who is:
* Proactive, self-driven, and takes initiative.
* Creative with a strong eye for fashion, prints, colour, and detail.
* Interested in both the creative and execution side of fashion.
* Comfortable working across design, print, sourcing, merchandising, and production.
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Resourceful, hands-on, and comfortable communicating with vendors.
* Willing to learn and take responsibility in a fast-paced fashion environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design — completed or final year.
* Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
* Ability to create CADs, illustrations, presentations, and print artwork.
* Understanding of print development, fabrics, garment construction, and production preferred.
* Strong communication and time-management skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
