The person will be responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the Operation Team in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.
Day to day Accounting activities which Include:
Maintaining account records in ZOHO Books.
Maintains various operating transaction documentation.
Prepare P&L Accounts and Balance sheet reconciliations in ZOHO Books.
Sales Order creation in ZOHO Books and send to customers.
Purchase Order Preparation in ZOHO Books and send to Vendors.
Invoice Generation using ZOHO Books and send to customers.
MIS report preparation in EXCEL ( Profit and Loss, Account Payable, Accounts Receivable, AR ageing summary)
Accruals & prepayments.
Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing.
Daily bank receipts postings.
Set up new suppliers on ZOHO Books
Reports on debtors and creditors.
Cash Collection Coordination, follow-up and updates to management.
The knowledge on below will be an advantage:
Income Tax Return.
GST calculation and Filing.
Weekly wages, petty cash management.
Year budget preparation.
Year-end audit analysis.
Quarterly VAT return preparation.
Excellent Excel Skills
Experience in ZOHO Books / Tally or any other Accounting Software is must.
Some experience in preparation of balance sheet accounts
NOTE: The person should be ready to travel locally related to Bank, PF, and PT office.
