Marketing Head – Role & Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement the company’s overall marketing strategy.
- Identify target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
- Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, and sales-support strategies.
- Build and strengthen the company’s brand and market position.
2. Market Research
- Study market trends, customer requirements, competitors, and new technologies.
- Identify new products and market opportunities.
- Collect customer and distributor feedback and communicate market requirements to management, R&D, and production.
- Monitor competitor pricing, products, specifications, and marketing activities.
3. Lead Generation
- Develop effective strategies for generating qualified leads.
- Manage leads from exhibitions, digital campaigns, websites, references, distributors, and other sources.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure proper lead follow-up and conversion.
- Track marketing-generated leads and conversion rates.
4. Digital Marketing
- Manage the company website and online presence.
- Plan and execute SEO, Google campaigns, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising as appropriate.
- Develop technical and promotional content for products.
- Monitor website traffic, enquiries, engagement, and campaign performance.
5. Product Marketing
- Develop product positioning and marketing strategies for laboratory instruments.
- Prepare product brochures, catalogues, presentations, technical content, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with Product Development/R&D and Sales teams for new product launches.
- Highlight product features, benefits, applications, and competitive advantages.
6. Exhibitions & Events
- Plan and manage participation in exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and technical events.
- Coordinate stall design, product demonstrations, promotional materials, invitations, and visitor management.
- Ensure leads generated from exhibitions are properly recorded and followed up.
- Measure the ROI of exhibitions and events.
7. Dealer & Distributor Marketing
- Support dealers, distributors, and channel partners with marketing materials and campaigns.
- Develop joint marketing programs where required.
- Monitor distributor performance and market coverage.
- Identify and develop new channel partners in potential markets.
8. Sales & Marketing Coordination
- Work closely with the Sales Head and sales team to achieve business targets.
- Provide sales teams with qualified leads, product information, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Support sales teams in key customer meetings and product presentations when required.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns according to sales priorities.
9. Brand Management
- Maintain consistent company branding across brochures, website, social media, exhibitions, presentations, and advertisements.
- Develop corporate communication and promotional materials.
- Protect and strengthen the company’s reputation in the market.
10. Customer & Market Development
- Identify new industries, institutions, laboratories, hospitals, universities, research organizations, and government opportunities.
- Develop strategies for entering new geographic and industry markets.
- Maintain relationships with important customers and industry stakeholders.
- Understand customer buying behavior and requirements.
11. Budget & Cost Management
- Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.
- Monitor spending on exhibitions, advertising, digital marketing, printing, events, and promotional activities.
- Ensure marketing expenditure delivers measurable business value.
12. Team Management
- Lead and manage the marketing team.
- Define targets, responsibilities, and KPIs.
- Train team members in product knowledge, digital marketing, market research, and lead generation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
13. Marketing Reports & Analytics
Prepare and present regular reports covering:
- Leads generated
- Marketing-to-sales conversion
- Campaign performance
- Website and digital performance
- Exhibition ROI
- Market development
- Competitor activities
- Marketing expenses
- New market opportunities
Qualification : Diploma/BE Any /MBA Marketing
Location : Ahemdabad
Expierence: 4 to 7 Years
Salary : 45000 to 50000 per Month
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
