JOB DESCRIPTION – IPQA EXECUTIVE / OFFICER

Job Purpose
To ensure GMP compliance and in-process quality, with major focus on packaging operations of Softgel, Tablet, Sachet, Bottle and Liquid products.
Key Responsibilities
Packaging IPQA – Main Responsibility
- Perform line clearance before and after batch/product changeover.
- Verify packaging materials as per BOM, BMR/BPR and approved artwork.
- Check product name, batch no., MFG/EXP, MRP, pack size and coding.
- Perform in-process checks for Softgel, Tablet, Sachet, Bottle and Liquid packing.
- Check count/fill weight/volume, sealing, leakage, capping, labeling and coding.
- Verify carton, label, foil/film, bottle, cap and shipper packing.
- Check packaging material and finished product reconciliation and yield.
- Ensure proper segregation of rejected/damaged materials and products.
- Report any mix-up, labeling/coding error, leakage, packing defect or discrepancy immediately.
Product-Specific Checks
- Softgel: leakage, appearance, sticking, deformation, count and sealing.
- Tablet: count, appearance, blister/strip/bottle packing and sealing.
- Sachet: fill weight, sealing, leakage, cutting and coding.
- Bottle: fill count/volume, cap, induction seal, label and coding.
- Liquid: fill volume, bottle integrity, leakage, cap/seal and labeling.
Manufacturing IPQA – Limited
- Perform routine checks during dispensing, sifting, blending/mixing and other manufacturing activities.
- Verify equipment cleanliness, process parameters and GMP compliance.
Documentation & QMS
- Review BMR/BPR, IPQA records and line clearance documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability as per GMP/GDP.
Qualification & Experience
Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. / M.Sc. or relevant qualification.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in QA/IPQA in Pharmaceutical/Nutraceutical manufacturing.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
