Clinic reception and coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. They are responsible for managing front-desk operations including patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing assistance, and coordination between patients and Doctors to ensure efficient workflow and a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
* Register patients, verify personal and insurance information
* Schedule appointments
* Handle incoming phone calls and respond to queries
* Maintain patient records and ensure data entry accuracy
* Coordinate with lab technicians and pathologists
* Collect payments and issue receipts/invoices
* Prepare daily reports of patient visits and transactions
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
* Ensure confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliance or local privacy laws)
