Job Overview
We are seeking a Design Engineer with experience in Injection Mould Design to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mould design using Cimatron software and a strong understanding of plastic injection moulding processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop injection moulds for plastic components.
- Create 3D models, mould assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using Cimatron.
- Prepare BOMs and mould component details.
- Coordinate with production, tool room, and project teams.
- Support mould trials and implement design improvements.
- Ensure designs meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Injection Mould Design.
- Proficiency in Cimatron software.
- Good knowledge of mould construction and plastic injection moulding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
