Post : Manager - Taxation
Qualification : M Com, MBA-Finance / CA preferred
Exp. : 10+ Yrs
Location : Andheri (E), Mumbai (pickup & drop facility)
Salary : As per co. norms
Key Responsibilities
Direct Taxation (Income Tax)
Manage corporate tax planning and compliance.
Ensure timely filing of income tax returns, TDS returns, and advance tax payments.
Coordinate with external consultants/authorities (Income Tax Department).
Indirect Taxation (GST & Other Levies)
Ensure GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
Monitor input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and optimization.
Handle audits, notices, litigation, and assessments.
Manage inter-state transactions, exports, imports, and e-way bill compliance.
Ensure correct classification (HSN), valuation, and tax applicability.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and updates.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax authorities.
Tax Planning & Advisory
Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for business operations.
Analyze tax implications of new projects, expansions, or product lines.
Provide advisory on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring from a tax perspective.
Team Management
Lead and mentor the taxation team.
Coordinate with finance, procurement, and logistics departments.
Ensure training of team members on tax updates and compliance tools.
Key Skills
Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Customs (mandatory in manufacturing).
Expertise in tax audits, litigation, and compliance management
Experience in SAP mandatory
