We are looking for a Network & Wi-Fi Technician to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our networking and wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, LAN/WAN networks, and general network troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and access points.
- Set up and maintain LAN/WAN networks and office network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity, speed, coverage, and network performance issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, gateways, and basic routing.
- Monitor network performance and ensure reliable internet and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Identify and resolve hardware and network-related issues.
- Perform network cabling and basic network equipment installation when required.
- Maintain documentation of network equipment, configurations, and connectivity setups.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and external vendors for network-related issues.
- Provide technical support to employees for connectivity and networking issues.
- Ensure network security best practices are followed.
- Assist with network upgrades, expansions, and new office/site setups.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in networking, Wi-Fi, or IT support.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and basic routing.
- Practical experience with routers, switches, access points, and Wi-Fi configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
- Basic knowledge of network security and firewall concepts.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle on-site technical issues when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi systems and network management tools.
- Experience with brands such as TP-Link, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Cisco, or similar.
- Knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and network monitoring.
- Relevant networking certification such as CCNA will be an advantage.
