BIM Faculty (Architectural, Structural & MEP)
Job Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate BIM Faculty / Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to students and professionals in Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, and MEP) and a dedication to mentoring the next generation of AECO professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery: Conduct comprehensive training sessions on BIM concepts, software tools, and industry workflows covering Architectural, Structural, and MEP modules.
- Curriculum & Content: Assist in updating course materials, creating practical exercises, and designing project-based learning modules.
- Student Mentorship: Guide students through live projects, evaluate their progress, and provide constructive feedback on their modeling assignments.
- Lab Management: Oversee practical lab sessions, helping students troubleshoot software errors and model inconsistencies.
- Skill Evaluation: Conduct periodic assessments and mock exams to ensure students are industry-ready.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background:
- Minimum Qualification: 3-year Diploma or Graduation in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Expertise Required:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, and MEP).
- Solid understanding of BIM concepts, LOD (Level of Development), and collaboration workflows.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and architectural visualization tools (e.g., Lumion, 3ds Max) is a strong plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Patience and a strong passion for teaching and mentoring.
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts for beginners.
Experience
- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in either a BIM production environment or as a technical trainer. Freshers with exceptional modeling skills and strong academic records may also be considered.
