Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate, growth-oriented Business Development Head to lead and manage our B2B sales and business development function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships, acquiring new business opportunities across India and international markets, managing a team of Business Development Executives, and representing Scoobies at key customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Sales -
- Drive B2B sales growth across India and international markets.
- Acquire new distributors, retailers, modern trade accounts, e-commerce partners, and international buyers.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
Key Account Management -
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing B2B clients.
- Conduct regular client meetings and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate commercial terms and onboard new accounts.
Team Leadership -
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Executives.
- Set targets, review performance, and support deal closures.
Domestic & International Business Development -
- Travel across India and internationally to meet clients and partners.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meetings.
- Explore export opportunities and global distribution partnerships.
Sales Operations & Reporting -
- Maintain sales forecasts and pipelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams for successful execution.
Candidate Profile:
Mandatory Requirements -
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Channel Sales.
- Prior experience in Kids Lifestyle, Toys, Educational Products, Stationery, Baby Products, Consumer Brands, or related industries.
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing B2B clients.
- Experience managing sales teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with domestic and international travel.
Preferred Qualifications -
- Existing network within retail chains, distributors, toy industry, modern trade, or international buying offices.
- Exposure to international markets and trade exhibitions.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
