Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, including:
- Split AC units
- Central air-conditioning systems
- Chillers
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Exhaust and fresh air systems
- Monitor equipment performance and energy efficiency.
- Check refrigerant levels and identify leaks.
- Clean filters, coils, ducts, and condensers.
- Attend to guest complaints related to room temperature and AC performance.
- Maintain refrigeration equipment used in hotel kitchens, restaurants, and cold storage areas.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
- Keep maintenance records and prepare service reports.
- Follow safety standards and hotel engineering procedures.
- Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance team for major repairs.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Educational Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant technical certification is preferred.
Experience
- Typically 1–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, preferably in hotels, resorts, hospitals, or commercial buildings.
Working Conditions
- Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays.
- On-call availability for emergency repairs.
- Work may involve lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in mechanical rooms.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
