We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, and keyword research. This internship is a great opportunity to gain real-time experience in improving website rankings, increasing organic traffic, and learning modern SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research using SEO tools
- Optimize website content for search engines
- Write SEO-friendly blog content and meta descriptions
- Support on-page and off-page SEO activities
- Build backlinks through directory submissions, guest posting, and social bookmarking
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Track keyword rankings and prepare SEO reports
- Assist in technical SEO audits and website optimization
- Research competitor SEO strategies and trends
- Work with the content and development team for SEO improvements
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts
- Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with keyword research tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of digital marketing basics
- Basic knowledge of WordPress is an added advantage
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Certification in Digital Marketing or SEO is a plus
