Kottayam Rehabs Advanced Physiotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Psychologist in our team.
Location: Kottayam, near Carithas, Ammanchery, Near KIMS hospital, Kanakkary

Rehabilitation Psychologist
This role is perfect for someone passionate about Rehabilitation and dedicated to helping patients regain their independence through evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations, cognitive assessments, and behavioral intake interviews as required
- Design and implement tailored psychological care, counseling, and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to support emotional well-being and coping strategies.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and dietitian to suppirt overall patient recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt therapeutic strategies as needed.
- Guide family members and caregivers on supportive care practices for long-term recovery.
Requirements
- Education: MSc Psychology (minimum), Mphil Rehabilitation Psychology or PGDRP is highly preferred. But if candidate has experience in rehabilitation therapy without RCI degree, we are open to hire.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a clinical setting or hospital or Homecare setting
- Skills: Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or trauma-informed care tailored for rehabilitation.
- Language: Must be fluent in Malayalam to effectively communicate with patients and their bystanders.
