- Generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Promote and sell pumps, pumping systems, and associated spares.
- Handle enquiries, prepare technical and commercial quotations, and negotiate contracts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, industries, consultants, dealers, and government organizations.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pumping solutions.
- Participate in tendering processes and project sales activities.
- Coordinate with service and operations teams for smooth execution and customer support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering .
- 6-8 years of experience in technical sales/business development of industrial pumps, pumping systems, motors, or other industrial equipment.
- Experience in handling B2B sales with industries, OEMs, EPC contractors,and Government/PSU clients.
- Strong knowledge of pump selection, industrial applications, tendering, and project sales.
- Proven ability to generate new business, manage key accounts, and achieve sales targets.
- Good technical, commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals and conducting customer presentations.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and business development activities.
- Valid driving licence and proficiency in MS Office are preferred.
- Candidates with experience in KSB, Kirloskar, Grundfos, Wilo, Flowserve, Sulzer, CRI, Texmo, or similar industrial equipment companies will be preferred.
