The Senior Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Manipal Hospitals will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. Skills and Tools Required:
- Advanced knowledge of critical care nursing practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using medical equipment commonly found in ICU settings (e.g., ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring devices)
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and families
- Relevant Experience in ICU for 5 years managing emergency response and crisis management
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior nurses
- Certification in critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN) preferred
- Current nursing license and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS)
