Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, strengthen online presence, increase audience engagement, and support overall business objectives. The role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively manage the company's digital reputation and social media channels.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the organization's marketing and business objectives.
- Manage and oversee all company social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Create and maintain a structured content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content publishing.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital platforms to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Ensure all content and communication adhere to the organization's branding guidelines and communication standards.
Content Planning & Execution
- Plan, create, review, and publish high-quality content, including graphics, videos, reels, stories, announcements, testimonials, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, designers, content writers, and video editors to develop engaging and impactful digital content.
- Optimize content for platform-specific performance and audience engagement.
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and relevance across all social media channels.
Community & Reputation Management
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, reviews, and customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage the organization's online reputation across Google Reviews and other review platforms.
- Address customer concerns and escalate issues to the relevant departments when required.
- Foster positive engagement and maintain strong relationships with the online community.
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to support business initiatives, product launches, events, webinars, admissions campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between social media initiatives and broader marketing objectives.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships, collaborations, and promotional activities where applicable.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, lead generation, and conversion metrics.
- Analyze campaign performance and audience behavior to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Utilize data-driven strategies to improve overall social media effectiveness and return on investment.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, content, design, sales, and business development teams to ensure integrated campaign execution.
- Provide guidance and support to social media executives, interns, or other team members, as required.
- Contribute to the development of innovative marketing initiatives and brand-building activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital marketing, or brand communications.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple social media platforms for an organization or brand.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and social media scheduling tools.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign optimization.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Adobe Express.
- Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing principles.
- Experience in managing online reputation and review platforms.
