About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Operations Intern to join our FinOps team. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial operations, accounting processes, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance within a fast-growing IT/SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare and update MIS reports using MS Excel.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and financial data verification.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams for finance-related documentation and queries.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial records.
- Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Eligibility
- B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or any accounting software will be an added advantage.
