Job Description: Litigation Paralegal – Intellectual Property
Location: Delhi
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our Litigation practice. The role involves assisting attorneys in the management of contentious intellectual property matters, ensuring smooth case administration, maintaining critical deadlines, coordinating filings, and managing documentation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation and Record Management
- Maintain and organize both physical and digitized case files and records.
- Ensure accurate filing, indexing, retrieval, and archiving of litigation documents.
- Prepare hearing bundles, case files, evidence compilations, and document repositories.
- Review documentation for completeness, consistency, and procedural compliance.
- Update, maintain, and monitor case records using docketing and case management tools to ensure accurate tracking of deadlines, hearings, filings, and matter status.
- Ensure timely updating of matter-related information, correspondence, documents, and procedural developments in docketing systems.
- Generate reports and alerts from docketing platforms to support effective case and deadline management.
Litigation and Case Management
- Assist attorneys throughout the lifecycle of litigation matters, from initiation to final disposition.
- Maintain and monitor litigation diaries, including court hearings, filing deadlines, due dates, and procedural compliances.
- Coordinate and track timelines to ensure timely completion of all litigation-related tasks.
- Liaise with courts, external counsel, local agents, and administrative authorities, as required.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of pleadings, affidavits, applications, notices, evidence, and other legal documents.
IP Litigation Support
- Assist in gathering, organizing, and managing evidence for infringement, counterfeiting, piracy, and enforcement actions.
- Coordinate with prosecution and enforcement teams on litigation-related matters.
Client and Administrative Coordination
- Coordinate with clients for collection of information, documents, and evidence.
- Prepare status reports, raise invoices and send matter updates for attorneys and clients.
- Assist with matter administration, reporting, and record-keeping requirements.

Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in any discipline.
- Additional certification or training in paralegal studies or legal administration will be an advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in a law firm, legal services organization, or corporate legal department.
