Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in managing, administering, and optimizing Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Oracle 26ai, PostgreSQL, Load Balancing, Database Performance Management, Backup & Recovery, and High Availability Solutions. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring database availability, security, scalability, and performance across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle Database environments, including Oracle 26ai.
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) for high availability and scalability.
- Configure and manage Load Balancing solutions to ensure optimal database performance and traffic distribution.
- Perform database installation, upgrades, patching, migration, and capacity planning.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security administration.
- Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN and related tools.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain database disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Configure and support CPD (Continuous Professional Development/Client-specific Database Platform) and PBD (Project/Platform-Based Database environments) as per organizational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with database security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and development teams for deployment and performance optimization.
- Automate routine database administration tasks using shell scripting or other automation tools.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure is an advantage.
