An Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is a workspace established under the Government of India's Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) to foster STEM skills, creativity, and innovation in school students from Grades 6 to 12.
These labs provide students with hands-on, "Do-It-Yourself" experiences through cutting-edge tools and kits. Core features and facilities include:
- Advanced Equipment: Access to 3D printers, robotics kits, sensors, open-source microcontrollers (like Arduino/Raspberry Pi), and IoT devices.
- Real-World Problem Solving: Encourages students to design and build practical solutions to local and societal problems.
