The Faculty (trainer) is responsible for the smooth functioning of all Centre related training and development program in the region. He/she is in-charge of implementing and ensuring follow ups with Founding Years Guidelines on support and service delivery in all Centres of the region. This person acts as the faculty member who trains, conducts classes and is responsible for on-ground functioning of each and every training course designed by the Institute of Early Childhood Education and Development (IECED), Bangalore. Through mechanisms of TNAs (Training need assessments), review and staff interaction, he/she sets goals and makes recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation. He/She is responsible for implementation of various modules in diploma/degree/short term training programs planned for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct certificate, diploma, degree, and short-term training programs across assigned centres.
- Deliver engaging classroom and practical training sessions using IECED-approved content.
- Assess participants' learning needs and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Collect and analyze training data to improve learning outcomes.
- Coordinate with the training team to ensure smooth execution of all programs.
- Conduct regular centre visits, follow-ups, and quality checks.
- Execute regional training projects under the guidance of the Regional Training Manager.
- Prepare weekly training schedules and development plans.
- Stay updated with the latest practices and trends in Early Childhood Education.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance participant engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with IECED training standards and organizational policies.
- Train, mentor, and support teaching and centre staff according to the training calendar.
- Assist in onboarding and induction training for new employees.
- Recommend and develop need-based learning modules to enhance staff capabilities.
- Gather participant feedback after every training session.
- Share observations and recommendations with the content development team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and learning resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification or specialization in Early Childhood Education will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in training, teaching, or learning and development.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education or the education sector is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Since the Faculty(Trainer) is responsible for conducting all training and development courses in the region, he/she would be required to visit different Centres on different days. The work timings and work space would be determined by the requirements on ground and could vary daily.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
