About the Role
Potafo is looking for a creative and social-media-savvy Social Media Intern to join our marketing team.
If you're someone who is always up to date with the latest Reels, trends, memes and conversations online—and enjoys turning ideas into engaging content—this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a fast-growing food delivery brand.
You'll work closely with our content and marketing teams to support Potafo's social media presence and create content that connects with our audience.
What You'll Do
- Support day-to-day management of Potafo's social media platforms.
- Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.
- Research trending Reels, sounds, memes, food trends and content formats.
- Contribute creative ideas for Reels, Stories, posts and campaigns.
- Assist the content team with captions, hooks and social media copy.
- Schedule and publish approved content across social platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages and audience engagement.
- Support restaurant campaigns, offers, events and promotional activities.
- Assist with influencer and creator research and coordination.
- Track basic social media performance such as reach, engagement, views and follower growth.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and content shoots when required.
Who We're Looking For
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing and content creation.
- Good understanding of Instagram, Reels, YouTube Shorts and current social trends.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Malayalam and English communication preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or video-editing tools is an advantage.
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Previous internship experience is not mandatory.
