Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Fixed Asset Accounting professional with hands-on experience in asset accounting, depreciation, SAP, and Advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Fixed Asset Accounting activities
- Handle asset capitalization, asset transfers, and asset retirement accounting
- Calculate and process depreciation entries accurately
- Pass journal entries related to fixed assets and general accounting
- Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure proper documentation
- Perform reconciliations and support month-end closing activities
- Prepare MIS reports and analyze accounting data using Excel
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for asset-related queries and approvals
- Manage email communication and maintain proper accounting records
- Support audits and compliance requirements related to fixed assets
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting and depreciation accounting
- Hands-on experience in SAP (SAP FICO preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting, and data analysis
- Good understanding of journal entries and accounting processes
- Effective communication and email management skills
- Strong analytical and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
