Job Summary
Target Advertising & Marketing is looking for an experienced Lead 3D Designer & Technical Drafter who can handle both creative 3D design and technical AutoCAD drawings for exhibition stands, pavilions, interiors, and related projects.
The ideal candidate should be able to take a concept from 3D visualization through detailed production drawings and BOM preparation, ensuring the design is practical, accurate, and ready for fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D exhibition stand concepts, models, and realistic renders.
- Develop detailed AutoCAD 2D drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and fabrication details.
- Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), material take-offs, and hardware specifications.
- Convert creative designs into practical, buildable structures for production and site execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, production teams, fabricators, and designers.
- Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, and technical feasibility.
- Optimize designs for efficient material usage and cost-effective fabrication.
- Handle multiple projects and meet tight project deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in 3D design, technical drafting, and exhibition/interior design.
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Proficiency in one or more 3D software packages such as:
- 3ds Max
- SketchUp
- Rhino
- Blender
- SolidWorks
- V-Ray or other rendering software
- Good knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, hardware, joinery, and construction techniques.
- Ability to prepare accurate BOMs and material quantities from drawings.
- Strong understanding of dimensions, scale, space planning, lighting, materials, and detailing.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects within deadlines.
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Experience in exhibition stand design and fabrication.
- Experience in interior fit-outs, modular structures, or event fabrication.
- Knowledge of international exhibition stand construction standards.
- Experience using AI design and visualization tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or other AI-assisted design tools.added advantage
- Ability to work independently and lead technical design coordination.
