Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled EDM Wire Cut Machine Operator with 5+ years of experience in operating CNC Wire Cut EDM machines. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine setup, program execution, reading engineering drawings, and producing precision components while meeting quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up EDM Wire Cut machines for precision machining.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Load, align, and clamp workpieces for machining.
- Execute Wirecut programs and make minor program or offset adjustments when required.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain proper dielectric fluid and consumables.
- Replace wire, filters, and other consumable parts as required.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs.
- Maintain production records and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Achieve daily production targets while minimizing material waste.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience operating EDM Wire Cut machines.
- Knowledge of CNC machine operations and basic program editing.
- Should know work on AutoCad
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and GD&T basics.
- Knowledge of machining tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualification
- ITI (Turner/Machinist/Fitter/Tool & Die Maker) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification or training in CNC/EDM Wire Cut operations is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
