Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will execute Test plans & demonstrate testing capabilities of Low Voltage Motors during internal testing and customer inspection for a superior customer experience.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for IEC Low Voltage Division based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Develop and execute quality control plans & procedures for Low Voltage motors routine and type test. Routine testing and type testing of Low voltage motors.
- Preparation of Routine and Type test reports. Preparation of daily/monthly reports. Well versed in IS/IEC/JEC and IEEE standards.
- Understanding of design specifications, QAP and drawings. Handling of customer / Third party inspections.
- Updating and maintaining the test records as per ISO 17025:2017 standard & NABL requirements. Reporting of Non-conformance and provide support in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective actions on testing related issues.
- Training of QA testing trainees and providing technical support when needed. Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting any errors with respect to routine / type test set up. Co-ordinating with internal team (Design/Production and Order handling).
Qualifications for the role
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and control Engineering with 5-10 years of relevant functional experience.
- Hands on experience with Measuring Equipment of reputed make such as Yokogawa and Fluke (HV tester, Insulation resistance tester, Micro ohm meter, Power, Vibration and Noise analyzer).

Hands on in Problem Solving /8D Methodology / DMAIC / Testing Improvements – Kaizen/Poka-yoke.
- Familiar with Instrument calibration. · Familiar with QMS ISO 9001:2015 & NABL ISO 17025:2017.

Good communication skills. · Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box. Rotating machines background in similar industry. Preferably in Low Voltage Motors. Certified Six sigma Yellow / Green belt
