Calibre 65 is a Singapore-based luxury watch retailer selling worldwide. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong frontend development skills to support the continued development and enhancement of a business operations platform. You will work closely with our Sri Lanka-based Senior AI Automation Engineer, and Singapore-based marketing, operations, and sales team and Director.
The role will involve developing solutions across the full application stack, from creating clean and intuitive user interfaces to building backend services, database functionality, and integrations with external platforms.
The platform supports a range of business operations including inventory and product management, CRM, sales workflows, invoicing and payments, financial reporting, marketplace activities, customer communications, and internal administration.
As the platform continues to grow, there will be a strong focus on improving the overall user experience, introducing new sales and management capabilities, integrating additional external platforms, and using automation and AI to make business information more accessible and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance features across both the frontend and backend.
- Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using React.
- Develop dashboards, data visualisations, forms, and business workflow interfaces.
- Build and maintain backend APIs, services, and PostgreSQL database functionality.
- Integrate the platform with external APIs and third-party services.
- Work with authentication, webhooks, data synchronisation, and integration workflows.
- Develop reliable solutions for handling and processing data from multiple external sources.
- Improve existing sales, CRM, inventory, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Build reusable and maintainable frontend components and backend services.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, usability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot issues across the application stack and external integrations.
- Collaborate on requirements and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
Future Development
The continued development of the platform will involve increasingly connected and data-driven functionality.
This will include integrating with external platforms and data sources such as Meta services, messaging channels, online marketplaces, Reddit and other relevant platforms, allowing information from different sources to be brought together and used within the application.
Future enhancements will also explore AI-assisted search and analysis, particularly around marketplace and product data, as well as improvements to sales communication by bringing enquiries and conversations from different channels into more centralised workflows.
There will also be continued development around customisable dashboards, analytics, sales tools, automation, reporting, and operational improvements as business requirements evolve.
Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
- React and JavaScript
- Strong frontend development and UI implementation
- Python and FastAPI or similar backend technologies
- PostgreSQL / relational databases
- REST API development and integration
- Third-party APIs and external system integrations
- Git / GitHub and collaborative development
- Authentication and role-based access
- Responsive web application development
- Data-driven dashboards and visualisations
Experience with AWS, Meta/WhatsApp APIs, AI/LLM integrations, webhooks, marketplace integrations, web data extraction, or automation would be an added advantage.
We are looking for a developer with strong full-stack fundamentals, particularly someone with a good eye for frontend quality and user experience, who is comfortable working on integrations and solving practical business problems through technology.
