Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Level 3 Network Engineer to join our core infrastructure team. As an L3 Engineer, you will be the final point of escalation for complex network issues and will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our global network architecture. We need a visionary who can troubleshoot at the deepest layers and ensure 99.9% uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance LAN/WAN/Cloud networking solutions.
- Expert Troubleshooting: Act as the final tier of technical support for complex routing, switching, and security incidents.
- Security Integration: Implement and manage advanced firewall policies, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Automation: Utilize Python or Ansible to automate repetitive network tasks and configurations.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively analyze network traffic and capacity to prevent bottlenecks.
- Leadership: Mentor L1/L2 engineers and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Technical Skills Required
- Routing/Switching: Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, and STP.
- Vendors: Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Palo Alto gear.
- SD-WAN & Cloud: Experience with SD-WAN deployments and Cloud networking (AWS VPC / Azure VNet).
- Security: Advanced knowledge of IPsec, SSL, and Zero Trust frameworks.
- Certifications (Preferred): CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP/JNCIE.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 7+ years in network engineering with at least 2 years in an L3 capacity.
- Mindset: A calm, analytical approach to high-pressure outages and a commitment to "Siddha-level" precision in execution.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex technical data into clear business insights.
