Position: Structural / Mechanical Draftsman
Experience: 1-4 Years Relevant experience in steel fabrication / mechanical drafting / structural detailing
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with experience in AutoCAD, steel fabrication drawings, and structural detailing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and supporting manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 2D engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings using AutoCAD
- Create GA (General Arrangement) drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and maintain drawing documentation
- Develop detailed drawings for steel structures, fabricated components, and equipment
- Understand fabrication processes including welding, cutting, bending, and assembly
- Coordinate with design, production, and fabrication teams for drawing modifications
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards, dimensions, and tolerances
- Review and update drawings based on manufacturing requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Civil / relevant engineering discipline
- Experience as Mechanical Draftsman / Structural Draftsman / Steel Detailer
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
- Experience in steel fabrication, structural detailing, or manufacturing drawings
- Knowledge of GA drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication documentation
- Good understanding of welding and fabrication processes
Preferred Experience:
- Scaffolding / Formwork / Construction Equipment / PEB / Heavy Fabrication industry experience will be an added advantage
