Functional Consultant – SIM (Supply Inventory Management)
Role Overview:
Senior Functional Consultant responsible for implementing and supporting SIM (Supply Inventory Management) solutions on the o9 platform. The role involves gathering business requirements, configuring inventory planning capabilities, supporting testing and deployment activities, and enabling effective supply planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders
- Configure and support SIM functionalities in the o9 platform
- Work on inventory policies, replenishment planning, and safety stock configuration
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
- Collaborate with technical teams for data integration, validation, and issue resolution
- Support SIT/UAT testing activities and defect resolution
- Assist in deployment, hypercare, and post-go-live support
- Analyze inventory planning outputs and recommend process improvements
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and test scenarios
- Follow supply planning and inventory management best practices
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in IBP Supply Planning or Inventory Management
- Hands-on experience with o9 SIM modules preferred
- Experience with planning tools such as o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP
- Understanding of inventory planning concepts including:
- Safety Stock
- Replenishment Planning
- Inventory Policies
- Demand-Supply Balancing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good stakeholder communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO)
- Basic SQL or data analysis skills
- Exposure to Agile project methodologies
- Domain experience in Retail, Manufacturing, Pharma, or CPG industries
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
