About the Role
CHISQUARE LABS is looking for an Infosec Intern to support the Information Security team in strengthening the organization's security posture, compliance framework, and governance processes. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) and Information Security to gain hands-on exposure to ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, and enterprise security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001
- Assist in performing information security risk assessments and maintaining the Risk Register
- Support compliance activities related to ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, and other applicable security frameworks
- Collect, review, and organize audit evidence for internal, external, and customer audits
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating information security policies, procedures, and standards
- Participate in vendor risk assessments and third-party security review activities
- Support user access reviews, onboarding/offboarding compliance verification
- Maintain security documentation, registers, and compliance records
- Participate in security awareness initiatives and related documentation activities
- Perform other GRC and information security tasks as assigned by the Information Security team
Required Qualification
- B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication Engineering, or BCA
Primary Skills
- Fundamentals of Information Security
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills
- Good communication skills
Good to Have (Secondary Skills)
- Exposure to Vendor Risk Management
- Awareness of NIST or CIS Controls
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
