Experience: Fresher to Experienced
Qualification:
- ITI (Fitter) preferred
- Candidates with practical fitting and fabrication skills are also eligible
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fit fabricated components as per engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Mark, align, drill, grind, cut and fit components accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments effectively.
- Ensure proper fit-up before welding and coordinate with welders.
- Check dimensions and maintain required tolerances.
- Perform minor rectification work when required.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping in the work area.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and mechanical fitting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as measuring tape, steel rule, vernier caliper, try square, and spirit level.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and in shifts if required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fabrication of industrial equipment, steel structures, pressure vessels, or process equipment.
- Knowledge of fit-up techniques and assembly procedures.
- Familiarity with grinding, drilling, tapping, and basic fabrication processes.
