We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a strong background in telesales and sales team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing effective sales strategies, managing telesales operations, and leading teams to consistently achieve and exceed business targets. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills in Hindi and English, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in sales management. Experience in the EdTech or IT industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the telesales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching, training, and guidance.
- Set performance goals and ensure adherence to sales processes and best practices.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and team performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and business performance updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer acquisition and retention.
- Drive revenue growth through effective lead management and conversion strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in telesales, sales management, or business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Proven ability to achieve and drive sales targets through team performance.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with experience in sales reporting and forecasting.
- Experience in the EdTech or IT industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools is an added advantage.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
