Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer/Technician with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial cooling and HVAC systems. You will handle the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced refrigeration units. A strong grasp of thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and Phase Change Material (PCM) integration is required to optimize system efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning
- Set up industrial cooling, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
- Charge refrigerants according to safety and environmental regulations.
- Run startup testing to ensure systems meet design specifications.
- Integrate PCM modules into new or existing cooling setups.
Maintenance & Repair
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial chillers and HVAC units.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in complex cooling loops.
- Repair or replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize client downtime.
Engineering & Optimization
- Analyze refrigeration cycles to improve energy efficiency.
- Apply thermodynamic principles to solve thermal management issues.
- Monitor PCM performance for thermal energy storage optimization.
- Maintain precise technical documentation and service logs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4–5 years in industrial refrigeration or heavy HVAC.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Refrigeration, or Thermal Engineering (or equivalent field experience).
- Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of thermodynamics and standard vapor-compression cycles.
- Specialized Tech: Practical experience with PCM (Phase Change Material) integration.
- Certifications: Valid EPA Section 608 certification (or local equivalent for refrigerant handling).
- Tools: Proficient with manifolds, vacuum pumps, leak detectors, and electrical multimeters.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical troubleshooting, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset.
Pay: ₹8,668.67 - ₹60,000.00 per month
