About the Role
Evara Fine Dine & Bar is looking for a well-presented, courteous, and customer-focused Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude.
- Manage reservations and maintain the seating plan efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Coordinate with the restaurant manager and service team to ensure smooth table turnover.
- Handle guest inquiries, walk-ins, and waitlists professionally.
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservation requests.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date guest database, including guest preferences, special occasions, and contact details.
- Regularly update guest records and ensure customer information is maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate upcoming events, festive celebrations, special offers, and promotions to guests through WhatsApp broadcasts, phone calls, and other approved communication channels.
- Assist in building and maintaining long-term guest relationships by engaging with repeat guests and encouraging customer loyalty.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.
- Address guest concerns politely and escalate issues to management when required.
- Ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, Guest Relations Executive, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage.
- Pleasant personality with professional grooming and etiquette.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp Business, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during busy service hours.
- Candidates with luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant experience will be given preference.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
