Job Opening: Merchandiser – Footwear Industry
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Footwear Technology will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in the footwear manufacturing industry, with strong exposure to merchandising, material sourcing, and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing and procurement of materials required for footwear manufacturing.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials at the factory.
- Collaborate with the Production, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent production delays due to material shortages.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, shortages, quality concerns, and logistics challenges.
- Ensure all materials comply with approved quality standards and technical specifications.
- Track material status and proactively coordinate with internal teams to achieve production deadlines.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of footwear materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent planning and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good Knowledge about footwear as a product, including shoe construction, manufacturing processes, materials, components, and production techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹276,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
