About ARCHINEERS
ARCHINEERS is a growing architecture, design and construction firm based in Bengaluru. We work on a wide range of projects involving architectural design, residential planning, interior design, 3D visualisation, structural coordination and project execution.
We are looking for a motivated and capable Architect / Junior Architect who can take responsibility for architectural design work and grow with our team.
This is not a role limited to drafting existing drawings. We are looking for someone who can think, plan and develop architectural designs independently, while working within ARCHINEERS' design standards and project requirements.
The selected candidate will receive training and guidance on our architectural design process, drawing standards, workflow and project development methodology.
Role Overview
The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts and converting client requirements into practical, well-planned architectural designs.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently creating:
- Architectural floor plans
- Space planning and layouts
- Building concepts
- 3D models
- Building elevations
- Architectural drawings
- Presentation drawings
- Working drawings and design documentation
The candidate should have a strong interest in both creative design and practical project development.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Planning
- Understand client requirements, plot dimensions, project requirements and design constraints.
- Independently prepare architectural floor plans and space layouts.
- Develop practical and aesthetically pleasing residential and commercial building plans.
- Prepare concept plans and revise designs based on client and team feedback.
- Assist in developing complete architectural schemes from initial planning to detailed drawings.
- Ensure drawings are properly coordinated and organised.
3D Modelling and Elevation Design
- Develop 3D models using SketchUp.
- Create building massing and architectural concepts.
- Independently develop building elevations based on the approved architectural plan.
- Explore different elevation styles, materials and design concepts.
- Prepare 3D views and presentation material for client discussions.
- Coordinate the architectural design with practical construction requirements.
Interior Design Coordination
Depending on project requirements, the candidate may also be involved in:
- Basic interior space planning.
- Developing interior concepts.
- Preparing 3D interior models.
- Coordinating architectural and interior design.
- Assisting with modular furniture layouts and interior drawings.
Training and guidance will be provided according to ARCHINEERS' project standards and workflow.
Working Drawings and Documentation
- Prepare architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
- Prepare drawings required for project coordination and execution.
- Make revisions accurately based on design changes.
- Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions and documentation.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and interior requirements.
Project Coordination
- Work closely with the ARCHINEERS design team.
- Participate in design discussions and project reviews.
- Understand and implement company design standards.
- Coordinate with other designers, engineers and project team members.
- Assist with site-related documentation and design clarification whenever required.
Mandatory Skills
The candidate must have working knowledge of the following:
AutoCAD – Mandatory
The candidate should be comfortable with:
- Creating architectural floor plans.
- Preparing elevations and sections.
- Preparing architectural drawings independently.
- Dimensioning and annotating drawings.
- Working with layers and organised drawing standards.
- Making revisions accurately.
SketchUp – Mandatory
The candidate must be capable of:
- Creating 3D models from architectural plans.
- Developing basic building massing.
- Creating and modifying architectural elevations.
- Developing exterior design concepts.
- Creating basic interior spaces and models.
- Working independently on 3D design development.
Preferred Software Skills
Knowledge of the following software will be an advantage:
- Coohom
- D5 Render
- Lumion
- Enscape
- Other architectural visualisation or rendering software
Candidates are not required to know every software listed above. However, the ability and willingness to learn new software and workflows is important.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have one of the following:
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
- Diploma in Architecture
- Diploma in Civil
- Relevant architectural or design qualification with a strong portfolio and practical skills
Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates who demonstrate strong skills and the ability to independently handle architectural design responsibilities may be offered a higher salary within the stated range.
Performance-based growth and increased responsibilities will be available based on the candidate's contribution and development.
