Job Title: Accounts Executive
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager
Location: Sivaraj Inn, Salem
Key Responsibilities
· Record daily accounting transactions in the accounting software.
· Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment records.
· Process vendor bills and employee reimbursements.
· Perform bank reconciliation statements on a regular basis.
· Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
· Prepare daily cash reports and monitor cash balances.
· Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
· Verify purchase bills and ensure proper documentation.
· Maintain petty cash records and reconciliation.
· Prepare GST-related data and support statutory compliance.
· Assist in TDS calculations and filing documentation.
· Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
· Prepare MIS reports and financial statements as required by management.
· Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory-related accounting records.
· Ensure proper filing and safeguarding of financial documents.
· Coordinate with various departments regarding billing, payments, and expense verification.
· Follow company financial policies and internal controls.
Qualification
· Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or M.Com.
· Additional accounting certifications such as Tally, GST are preferred.
Experience
· 2–5 years of experience in accounting.
· Hotel industry experience is preferred.
Required Skills
· Good knowledge of accounting principles.
· Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under deadlines.
Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
