Job Summary
Solverminds is seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst (POBA) to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering successful procurement initiatives within the Ship Management industry.
Responsibilities
Product Ownership: Define and prioritise product features in alignment with business goals and market needs within the Ship Management industry.
Business Analysis: Conduct thorough business needs analysis to identify and document requirements specific to Ship Management procurement processes.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders from Ship Management companies to gather and validate requirements.
User Story Development: Create well-defined user stories based on user acceptance criteria that can be easily translated into actionable steps for developers and testers.
Process Mapping: Create and maintain detailed process maps and workflows for Ship Management procurement processes.
Solution Design: Work with development teams to design and implement procurement solutions tailored to the needs of Ship Management companies.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders from Ship Management companies.
Project Management: Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with product roadmap and business objectives within the Ship Management industry.
What We’re Looking For:

5–7 years of Business Analyst experience in HR systems or ERP

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst within a technology or procurement environment, with a strong preference for experience in the Ship Management industry.

Deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices within Ship Management companies.

Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Ability to develop user stories based on user acceptance criteria.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in using project management tools and software.

Experience with procurement technology platforms and tools specific to the Ship Management industry.

Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.

Certification in Product Management or Business Analysis (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Business Analyst Professional).
