About the Role
Tamada Media is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Director of Photography (DOP) to bring stories to life through high-quality visuals. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cinematography, camera operations, lighting, and composition, with experience in shooting engaging digital content for social media and news platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute shoots for news, infotainment, interviews, and promotional content.
- Operate professional cameras and related equipment to capture high-quality footage.
- Set up lighting, framing, and camera movements to achieve the desired visual style.
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, and editors during pre-production and production.
- Ensure consistency in visual quality across all content.
- Manage camera gear and ensure equipment is maintained properly.
- Stay updated with the latest cinematography techniques and industry trends.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a Director of Photography, Cinematographer, or Camera Operator.
- Strong knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Experience shooting for social media, digital platforms, or news/media organizations.
- Understanding of shot composition, color, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Making, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field.
- Experience with Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, or similar professional camera systems.
- Portfolio showcasing previous work is mandatory.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
