We are seeking an engaging, organized, and safety-minded Laboratory Instructor to join our academic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between lecture theory and hands-on practice. You will be responsible for guiding students through practical experiments, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, grading lab assignments, and maintaining a well-stocked, functional laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in insert field, e.g., Biology / Chemistry / Engineering, a passion for teaching, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities Instruction & Student Support
- Lead Lab Sessions: Deliver introductory briefings for each lab session, explaining the objectives, techniques, and underlying scientific concepts.
- Guide Experiments: Facilitate hands-on learning by supervising students during experiments, answering questions, and troubleshooting equipment or procedural issues.
- Provide Feedback: Grade laboratory reports, quizzes, and practical exams accurately and constructively within established deadlines.
- Office Hours: Hold regular weekly hours to provide extra help to students struggling with lab concepts or calculations.
Lab Management & Safety
- Enforce Safety Protocols: Ensure all students strictly follow safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe handling/disposal of hazardous materials.
- Prep & Maintenance: Set up equipment, chemical reagents, software environments, or specimens prior to class, and ensure everything is properly cleaned and stored afterward.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of chemicals, consumables, and tools; coordinate with the lab manager to order replacement supplies as needed.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
- Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Insert Specific Degree, e.g., Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field. (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Relevant experience working in a professional laboratory environment or a prior teaching/TA role is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
