ROBOTIC WELDING TECHNICIAN
ROLES: A Robotic Welding Technician Sets up, programs, and maintains automated weldin machinery in manufacturing plants. They test equipment, fine tune weld paths an parameters and inspect parts to ensure high production speed and uniform quality.
Core Responsibilities:
Program and edit robot movement paths using teach pendants or offline software.
Adjust welding variables like voltage, wire feed speed and gas flow.
Inspect finished joints and test parts for defects.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or software glitches in the weld cell.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on robotic torches, arms and positioners.
Setting up, calibrating and testing robotic arms and sensors.
Monitoring weld quality and adjusting settings as needed.
Collaborating with Engineers and manual welders to optimize workflow.
Qualification and Experience:
10th Pass with ITI Robotic welder Technician Certificate or Plus Two / Diploma in Mechanical Engg with Robotic Weld Technician Certificate from a reputed Technical Institution.
Minimum: One year experience is required in Robotic Welding Machine Operations
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
