Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the daily housekeeping operations of our 3-star hotel in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supervise housekeeping staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and coordinate with other departments to deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations.
- Supervise Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, Laundry, and Housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
- Coordinate room readiness with the Front Office department.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and allocate daily work assignments.
- Train, motivate, and monitor housekeeping team performance.
- Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, uniforms, and guest amenities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain housekeeping records, inspection reports, and inventory logs.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, hygiene standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Assist in controlling departmental costs and minimizing wastage.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
- 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in a 3-star or business hotel is preferred.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel PMS systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
