About the Role
We are looking for an experienced EDP / ERP & IT Incharge to join our upcoming manufacturing facility in Surat. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in ERP systems, IT infrastructure, MIS reporting, and manufacturing operations.
The selected candidate will play a key role in implementing and managing ERP systems, ensuring accurate data management, supporting plant operations, and building a technology-driven manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP & Business Systems
- Support ERP implementation and daily operations across Production, Stores, Purchase, Sales, Dispatch, Quality, Accounts, and Administration.
- Coordinate with ERP/software vendors for implementation, testing, troubleshooting, report development, and user support.
- Maintain master data including Item Masters, Customer & Vendor Masters, BOMs, Machine Data, Process Parameters, and User Access.
Data Management & MIS
- Supervise and train Data Entry Operators (DEOs) to ensure timely and accurate system entries.
- Monitor production, inventory, dispatch, purchase, and quality data for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop dashboards and reports covering production, inventory, machine efficiency, wastage, dispatch, and pending orders.
IT Infrastructure
- Manage and maintain computers, printers, scanners, barcode systems, networking, internet connectivity, CCTV, and other IT infrastructure.
- Coordinate with hardware, networking, ERP, and software vendors for maintenance and support.
- Maintain user permissions, data backups, IT asset records, and basic cybersecurity practices.
Process Improvement
- Support digital transformation initiatives by reducing manual processes.
- Improve system-based tracking, reporting, and workflow efficiency across departments.
- Assist plant users with ERP adoption and provide ongoing training and technical support.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in EDP, ERP Support, MIS, IT Administration, or Manufacturing Software.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Exposure to Textiles, Plastics, Woven Sacks, FIBC, Packaging, Extrusion, Weaving, Printing, or Stitching industries will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, MIS reporting, networking, printers, scanners, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and interacting with production teams.
Preferred Skills
- ERP implementation or support experience.
- Knowledge of barcode systems, inventory management, production tracking, and dispatch modules.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Experience with Excel Dashboards, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
- Strong vendor coordination and user training skills.
