Position Purpose
The Safety Lead (Manager) is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities at the Adis & Nemobs Project sites. The role ensures full compliance with statutory regulations, client HSE requirements, and Kruti Power Projects Pvt. Ltd.'s Safety Management System while fostering a Zero Harm culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Management
- Develop and implement the Project HSE Plan.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and client HSE requirements.
- Establish a strong safety culture across the project.
- Promote the "Zero Accident – Zero Harm" philosophy.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- BOCW Act & Rules
- Factories Act
- National Building Code (NBC)
- IS Standards
- OSHA Guidelines (where applicable)
- Client Safety Standards
- Coordinate statutory inspections and audits.
Site Safety Monitoring
- Conduct daily site safety inspections.
- Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems.
- Monitor all high-risk activities.
High-Risk Work Monitoring
Ensure safe execution of:
- Work at Height
- Hot Work
- Excavation
- Confined Space Entry
- Lifting Operations
- Crane Operations
- Scaffolding
- Electrical Work
- Heavy Equipment Operations
- Chemical Handling
Risk Assessment
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Implement effective control measures.
- Review risk assessments periodically.
Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Recommend and monitor Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Maintain incident records and reports.
Safety Training
- Conduct Safety Induction for new employees.
- Organize Toolbox Talks.
- Conduct mock drills and emergency response training.
- Deliver awareness programs on HSE topics.
Emergency Preparedness
- Develop Emergency Response Plans.
- Conduct fire and evacuation drills.
- Coordinate with emergency services.
- Ensure availability of emergency equipment.
PPE Management
- Ensure proper selection and usage of PPE.
- Monitor PPE compliance.
- Maintain PPE inventory.

Contractor Safety
- Evaluate contractor HSE performance.
- Conduct contractor safety inductions.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance.
- Participate in contractor safety meetings.
Client Coordination
- Attend client HSE meetings.
- Submit weekly and monthly HSE reports.
- Coordinate client inspections.
- Resolve HSE observations.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead the project HSE team.
- Supervise Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, QA/QC, HR, and subcontractors.
- Mentor junior HSE personnel.
- Promote continual improvement in safety performance.
Required QualificationsEducation
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering.
- Advanced Diploma/Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS/DIS) – Mandatory.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory.

Experience
- 10–12 years of HSE experience in EPC, Industrial, Infrastructure, or Power Projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial HSE role.

Authority
The Safety Lead (Manager) is authorized to:
- Stop any unsafe work or operation.
- Suspend work in case of imminent danger.
- Issue Stop Work Notices.
- Recommend disciplinary action for repeated safety violations.
- Approve Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Reject unsafe equipment, scaffolding, lifting tools, or work practices.
Working Conditions
- Based at Adis & Nemobs Project Sites, Bhuj, Gujarat.
- Willingness to work extended hours during critical project phases.
- Frequent interaction with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
- Mandatory use of PPE and adherence to all company HSE policies.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
