About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Magento & Shopify Developer to manage and maintain our existing eCommerce websites. We currently operate two live websites—one built on Magento and the other on Shopify. Since both websites are already developed, this is primarily a maintenance and support role rather than a full-scale development position.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with both Magento and Shopify and be comfortable handling day-to-day website updates, troubleshooting, and implementing small enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Magento and Shopify websites.
- Fix bugs and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Upload and manage products, categories, pricing, and inventory updates.
- Implement minor feature enhancements and UI improvements.
- Install, configure, and update Magento and Shopify apps/extensions.
- Monitor website performance and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for landing pages, banners, and promotional updates.
- Ensure website security, backups, and platform updates are performed when required.
- Optimize website speed and performance.
- Resolve checkout, payment gateway, shipping, and order-related issues.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in Magento development.
- Working knowledge of Shopify development and administration.
- Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Magento themes, modules, and customization.
- Familiarity with Shopify themes (Liquid), apps, and store settings.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
